I suspect he will have a problem practising because of the different system. He might need to do some exam or something.

I doubt he will find a job that easy here, Most foreign Doctors that they came here they complain about their luck of getting a job and they are told to go back to school to take some courses and take exams.

To practice medicine in Canada, a doctor must first be recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons, or equivalent in each province. For foreign trained doctors this is more difficult because of language barriers and such - just because your brother can practice Obstetrics in Saudi Arabia doesn't mean his medical degree will even be recognized here, let alone getting a medical license.
