What are the cheap international couriers?

Purolator Couriers??????????????????????…

  • Does the couriers only attempt to deliver it three times before they tell you to do the pickup? The pickup location is really far. And my family is really busy. The couriers here have like super bad attitudes, I never even saw a truck come to my apartment. I called purolator number everyday now, and I made a call at 3:45 PM and I got a phone call saying that my entry code doesn't work. And the phone call was made around 4:30PM is it possible for purolator to come so quickly. I swear that they don't even attempt to deliver your packages. And is it true purolator is not allowed to call you? "cause a guy a representative of purlator said that and purolator phoned me twice.

  • Answer:

Well...Purolator can call you(they've called me-why would their be a rule (or law)against it)??? Some mail order/online order companies put your phone number on the label-must be so the shipper can call you I would think..at least they called you...Usually ONE is the maximum number of delivery attempts they make in most places now-then you have to pick it up at a depot-however its odd you don't have a delivery notice-unless they plan to try one more time..it's not their fault "your family's really busy"-they have to draw the line somewhere-the time they spend trying to deliver to you is that much more time someone further down the line has to wait(and more cost to them).Purolator does indeed "attempt" deliveries-I've never "not" gotten anything I ordered shipped through them-They aren't obligated to try any more than once(like the post office)-go to the depot..take ID..

You're expecting too much from a courier service. You say you're "really busy", well they are too. Couriers are designed to deliver to businesses where there's always someone there during business hours. In these circumstances, their service is excellent, and cost effective. However, if you're not home when they arrive, then you cause them a lost of extra work. Why should you expect them to do three times the work for the same price? Would you do that for any of your customers? You should expect the courier company to make one attempt to deliver your goods. If you're not there at the time, they leave a note as to where you can pick it up. Your options are: 1. Go pick up your goods. 2. Don't use courier services.

Only one attempt is made and no delivery notice is left for apartment buildings. If you ever experience problems with the couriers, call 1-888-7447-123 and report them.
