What does green tourism mean?

What does the "@" sign mean in tourism?

  • There's a sign on the free way, along with golfing and winery signs, that just has a giant "@" sign on it. What ever does it mean? Any help would be appreciated :)

It was originally used for "At the rate of" The symbol was hijacked by the Internet. it is known as an "AT" symbol here is a link for all it`s uses http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/@ In your case it was a Commercial Invoice term "At The Rate Of"

The @ could mean that you can follow the information online on twitter. Like for example, @seetorontonow is the twitter username for Toronto Tourism. This is all I know so far, I hope this helps.
