UW’s main campus is located in the twin cities of Kitchener-Waterloo in southwestern Ontario, about 90 minutes' drive west of Toronto. There are directions on this website: http://communications.uwaterloo.ca/howtoreach.php You could take Via Rail (station: Kitchener) or a Greyhound bus (station: Kitchener), if you don't have a car.

Depends on when you are going and for how long. rent a car - $30/day, 50 minute drive, 427 north, to 401 west to 8 north, to 7 east, to King St North, turn right on Columbia, main campus will be your left. sounds complicarted, but its quite easy, well marked and all highway. bus - no idea the cost, but the trip itself will take about 60 minutes min, and then you have to get from the station to the campus. hitch a ride.
