What is the cheapest way to get from Toronto to St. Kitts?

Is this the best way to get to st catharines from brampton?

  • i was thinking to first go to union station 610 bay st is it in dowmtown toronto, on the Go railway from brampton GO station. then from downtown toronto, to st catharines on the greyhound bus? wat do you think is this a quicker and cheaper way?...........also wat is the fare price to get a monthly pass for greyhound anyone?...

  • Answer:

You can take either Coach Canada or Greyhound however I was told that Coach Canada is cheaper but they're almost the same in my opinion. There's also GO Transit that goes to Niagara Falls (Hwy. 420 & Stanley) and Niagara Falls VIA station. Single ride is $14.25 or $16.90 however two-ride is $28.50 or $33.80. Adult monthly pass is $470.00 or $558.00 (Train Premium, I believe that's why it's higher than the other but not too sure). http://www.gotransit.com/publicroot/en/schedules/lstserdt.aspx?table=12&station=&new= However, I'm not sure about the monthly pass for either Coach Canada or Greyhound. According to Coach Canada website, adult one way is $19.80 while return is $38.00. You would get a cheaper price for either Coach Canada/Greyhound if you're a student. Price varies on Greyhound website. As for student, $25.20 round trip while non-refundable adult is $34.20 or $38.00 or $53.20 (sounds pretty weird to have these different prices) while refundable is: $43.00 or $60.20. Another thing, there should be 14-day (2 weeks) or 21-day advance purchase which should be cheaper than regular if memory serves me right. http://greyhound.ca/home/ I was thinking.. If you take a local transit from Brampton and connect to Mississauga one with your transfer (if that's how that works) and take 19 Hurontario bus going all the way to Port Credit and take a train from there. I believe it'd only be $3.00 and from Port Credit GO station: Adult single-ride ticket $12.60, $14.95 Adult two-ride ticket $25.20, $29.90 Adult monthly pass $416.00, $493.00 There are like three times that do not stop at Port Credit GO though if you look at GO schedule and looks like it'd stop at Fairview Mall instead. Hope this helps.

Union Station is at Bay and Front St. The Toronto Coach Terminal at 610 Bay St is about 1.3 km from the station, so you would have to walk 15 minutes or take TTC (route 6 bus on Bay, or subway to Dundas). You have mentioned before that you are planning to attend Brock University. Greyhound runs from the Toronto Coach Terminal to downtown St Catharines, but the schedule is not really convenient for commuting to school if you have classes in the morning, as the earliest departure from Toronto is at noon. Coach Canada does have early morning departures and more frequent service through the day, and unlike Greyhound, they stop at Brock. One-way student fare is $12.60 on Greyhound and $12.90 on Coach Canada - not sure about monthly passes, but you can call them and ask. You could take the GO train from Union Station to Burlington, then the bus to St Catharines (Fairview Mall). Instead of going all the way into downtown Toronto, you could also take local transit (Brampton/Mississauga) to Port Credit, then the train/bus. From downtown St Catharines you would take St Catharines Transit route 16 or the Brock Express. If you are doing this every day, though, you'd be better off moving to St Catharines.
