You can certainly get more than that if you have a skill or trade. Anything to do with engineering or the energy industry, oil and gas, seems to be a good bet.

Due to the shortage of medical personal, there is a huge demand for doctors, both general practitioners and specialists. Also lab technicians and nurses. Doctors in my province are getting close to 750,000 per year. Lab techs are getting 385,000 per year and nurses are getting 75,000 per year.

Brain surgery pays pretty well. Seriously, if you don't have special training and a graduate degree in some field, the construction industry is one of the better paying. If you can get the training in Guatemala, go for computing science. It's a booming field

Justin Bieber's got to be one of the highest earners in Canada these days, so I'd say "teen pop star." Other than that... media tycoon, CEO of large corporation, or just basically the best at whatever profession you choose.
