How good are North Face Jackets?

Are The north face jackets still popular in canada? Particulary Toronto? or the USA?

I know north face jackets were really popular 2 years ago. Then the Goose parka jackets took over in 2011. I mainly see goose jackets out there, but for about 600 bucks for a jacket just seemed too much. 300 for one isnt that bad, but yeah. Are north face jackets still in style and common in canada? When you answer, can you explain where you are from and if its common/ in style. thanks!
