Is UTM (University of Toronto Mississauga) considered a prestigious university?

It is just as prestigious as UTSG and UTSC. It does not matter which campus you study at, your degree will say "University of Toronto"

University of Toronto itself is a renowned university. UTM or UTSC is just as good as U of T (St.George). They're all the same. They're all good.

I've been wondering the same thing. I know that it's still good to have a degree from there because it will still say U of T, which is very well known with an amazing reputation. The only thing I don't know is if the quality of eduation you get at that campus is as good as the one you'd get at the main (St. George) campus, because it is a branch.

It is not the most well-known of the three, but it is just as prestigious as any of them. The St. George campus downtown is the main one and it's definitely the best looking of the bunch. But it's all a part of the U of T. Your degree with say UofT, regardless :)

prestigious in what sense. There are no programs that are standouts that draw people specifically to that campus ie. University of Waterloo - engineering, math and computer science or Queens for law

its all a matter of what you think of the school. st. george is more well known and if you say SG to someone they will respect you more. but regardless, Mississauga is part of U of T and a degree is a degree
