What's Canada's zip code?

  • Hi, I'm trying out for a contest and they want to know my zip code, First i have no idea what a zip code is and second what is my zip code? I live in Canada, Ontario. Please let me know what mine is. Thanks. :)

    US has zip codes, Canada has postal code. For example, in US, for Massachusetts state would be: MA "01775", but in Canada, for Ontario province: ON "M2V 1K7" Its always 6 digits - starting letter, then number, letter, number, letter, number, etc. If you do not know your postal code, its easy way to find out - simply go to canadapost.ca and click on "Find a Postal Code", type in your street, number, city, province and it will give you corect postal code. This website is very accurate and will show you your postal code. Good luck!

Canada has postal codes, not zip codes. They are a different format from zip codes and may or may not be accepted on American online forms. Try using your postal code (that six character code at the end of your mailing address) and see if it accepts it. Not all American contests are open to Canadians.

We don't have a zip code. A zip code is the USA equivalent to a postal code. If the contest allows people resident in Canada to enter, use your postal code or leave it blank.

If the contest must have a ZIP CODE it is for US residents. If it accepts a POSTAL CODE then Canadian residents can enter.

ok first of all, if you accully live in canada, you should know that canada has POSTAL CODES and there on your mailing address, so you'll have to find that out

If they are asking for a zip code then it's an american contest and you can't enter it. First off, the rules of the contest would be limited to us residents and secondly there are no zip codes in Canada and you can't fill out the entry form.

no zip codes in Canada only usa has zip codes. we have postal codes here and they are numbers and letters the difference is a zip code is all numbers. ie 10210
