What can you do after you get your g1?

What documention do you need to get a G1 licence in Canada (ottawa)?

• I am a Canadian and i need to get a passport i have all the other documentation needed to get it (birth certificate ect...) but i do not have the "documents to support identity." I no longer have my health card and it will take long to replace so i would like to use a g1 license as my supporting document will this work? If so other than studying for the test what willi need to get the g1 licence?

  Try bringing your birth certificate or your student ID card (if you have one) or a social insurance card. Don't worry the G1 test is really easy. It is all multiple choice questions and you only have to get 80% correct. You also have to take a quick vision test but as long as you can see you should do fine! Go for your test early in the day as it can get very busy!! Good luck!
