Where is a good place to see fireworks?

Does anyone know a good place too see the fireworks at Lac Leamy?

  • This is a question for Ottawa and Hull residents, but I'm wondering where I could find a good place to see the fireworks at Casino Lac Leamy from a distance, preferrably in Ottawa and not Quebec. Any ideas?

    The best would be to take the STO shuttle bus for the fireworks. You can catch it on Rideau street right at the Rideau Centre for $3. Details at http://sto.ca/autres_services/services_e.html#feuxcasino Otherwise if you want a site in Ottawa, two good options are either at the back of Parliament HIll (just walk around the Parliament buildings and right up to the wall at the back) or the park right behind the National Art Gallery that's up on the hill overlooking the river.
