Canada Post , Pickup item at post office?

• Just checked my tracking and this is what I got: 2012/02/29 15:52 Item available for pickup at Post Office 06:47 OTTAWA Item out for delivery 2012/02/28 07:31 OTTAWA Item processed at local delivery facility 05:43 OTTAWA Item processed at local delivery facility 05:35 OTTAWA Item processed at postal facility 2012/02/27 04:04 MISSISSAUGA Item processed at postal facility 2012/02/26 21:02 MISSISSAUGA Item was released by Customs and is now with Canada Post for processing 21:00 MISSISSAUGA International item arrived in Canada and will be reviewed by Customs 2012/02/22 20:54 International item has left the origin country and is en route to Canada 14:21 International item mailed in origin country Item was out for delivery but never even got a notice at my door, not sure whats happening Please help thank you

  You'll probably get the notice tomorrow in your mail. The posties sometimes only write out the card when they get back to the post office with the parcels thet couldn't deliver that day, instead of stopping at every place and writing out the card. Look at the times of the last two things: goes out for delivery at 6:47 am, comes back to post office at 3:52 pm. That's already an overtime day for your postie, so they save time by carding all the parcels at once, back in a warm dry post office at the end of the day. Besides, even if they left a card at your door immediately after the parcel couldn't be delivered, the parcel isn't at the post office for you to pick up until the postie gets back there with it at the end of the day.
