Commuter pass for crossing US Canada border?

I am a Canadian citizen. I have a Corperation in Buffalo and I live in Toronto. My accountant suggested to to have a company car to help on my corperate tax. So now I have an American license plate and I need to cross the border frequently with this car. But the Canadian border stops me time to time for questions and last time the officer asked me to get a commuter pass. Does anyone know what can help me to cross the border smoothly without the hazzel? Thanks. C.
