When is the best time of the year to visit Niagara Falls? ?

  • My fiance and I have been talking about going there, after seeing pictures from my sisters visit. When is the best time to go though? We don't want to go when its freezing out. But I don't want to wait forever.

    We were just up there this past May, we planned it so that the last night there (we spent a week traveling around Ontario) was the first night they were doing the fireworks over the falls. We book one of the very high end rooms with full view of the falls. The lights were dancing on the falls and the fireworks were overhead... very romantic and very beautiful. The restaurant in the hotel was use on Lost when the older man proposes to the lady who said she had breast cancer... beautiful. I will say... do not waste your money on the Casinos - but do use the Casinos to exchange money - they have better rates.

The best weather occurs from mid May until mid September. Yet, Niagara Falls can be very spectacular during the Winter. Nowadays more and more people visit the Cataract City year round.

The best time to go is in May or June - they have large tulip gardens that are beautiful. Also, it won't be so cold and won't be so hot. Lots of tourists though, but it's still a beautiful place. I go almost every weekend to the Falls once the weather starts warming up - one of my favourite places to be!!

Summer is the best time to go! Especially when it's hot outside you feel that amazing mist from the falls on your skin, it's awesome hehe. I love it there, so many things to do and so many things to see. Have a great time

try near august or june it gets warmer and the falls will cool you down it better to watch it in the summer because it won't be freezing. oh and in the night ! sometimes you see doves flying near the falls
