    Having traveled to Niagara Falls numerous times between May and September, I have to say the best experience overall were trips taken in September after Labor Day. Most lodging prices lower by at least 25%, lines for most attractions are non-existent (meaning that you can get more done in the same amount of time) and the temperature is still warm enough to comfortably get around but not summertime scorching hot. The Table Rock complex this summer finished up a renovation and expansion for its falls views and is also the site of the Journey Behind the Falls attraction and the new Niagara's Fury attraction. Anybody who goes to Niagara Falls has to ride on The Maid of The Mist at least once. I would add a mention for Marineland, the Butterfly Conservatory and Bird Kingdom. Each furthers the nature theme set by the falls in their own way. If that ever did get boring for you, the thrill rides at Marineland would definitely wake you up. How about eating a meal up in either of the Skylon Tower's windowed restaurants before or after visiting the observation deck? The meals in the Revolving Dining room start at $26 for lunch and $40 for dinner. The Summit Suite Dining Room's lunch buffet is $28 and the dinner buffet is $35-$40. However, you're there more for the spectacle and the surroundings. All prices include a free visit to the observation deck. Clifton Hill describes itself as "The Avenue of Fun" at Niagara Falls. It has many attractions, shops and restaurants. Some of my favorite stops would be the SkyWheel, the Great Canadian Midway, the Guinness Book of World Records museum and the Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. Nearby or inside either of the city's two main casinos, you'll find more to do. I enjoyed the Teslatron and the Canadian Mounties shop at Fallsview. It's a short walking distance to the Skylon Tower, the IMAX Theatre, the Daredevil Gallery and an official National Geographic store. Casino Niagara is a short walking distance from an official Coca-Cola store (complete with a full-service ice cream Coke fountain), an official Hershey Chocolate store, the Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood and Clifton Hill. Both casinos and areas have much more than the highlights I listed.

Anytime, always a great sight to see. Not as many other attractions in winter as summer. But in winter it's spectacular all the mist covers the trees and it freezes, an amazing sight. Plus they do huge x-mas light displays. Also not so many people. But Bloody cold! Better seen from canada side than U.S. Also must see niagara on the lake, neat little town. And wine tasting.

It really depends on what yo uare looking for. It is very nice in the summer, but also VERY busy. The falls look amazing in the winter when they are partially frozen. Niagara Falls is pretty busy anytime of the year though. There is tons to see in the Niagara Falls area. There are multiple wax museums, Ripley's Beleive it or Not Museum, and the Guiness Book of World Records Museum.

it really depends..if you just wanna see the falls then go in the summer so you can enjoy being outside and can go on the Maid of the Mist (a boat that goes right by the falls, you usually get wet from mist so they give you cool rain ponchos), or in the winter they have a light show of like disney and stuff and it's cool to see them partially frozen but it's cold! also while you're there you should check out clifton hill which is the main tourist attraction area right by the falls!
