Answer:
Do you already have immigration/work permits lined up? Usually to get approval to immigrate to Quebec you must satisfy the French language requirement for the province. As you have not mentioned if you have Canadian citizenship or a Canadian immigration visa, I will advise you that it will not be possible to find a job in your employment sector without first obtaining a work permit and a social insurance number, as otherwise your prospective employers cannot legally hire you. Since you do not speak French, I will advise you to reconsider moving to Montreal. Certainly customer service positions require at least a certain degree of French fluency, and it will be difficult to find administrative work where French is not at all required.

First of all you have to apply for a work permit. This is the Government site : http://www.cic.gc.ca/EnGLish/information/applications/work.asp Secondly Quebec is French Speaking and any employer who hired you to work with the public could be fined. No employer will take that risk when there are so many bilingual people here looking for work.

Trying to find a job in Montreal if you are arriving internationally and do not speak French will be very hard. Companies in Canada are required to advertise job openings to Canadians first, and then if they do not get any qualified applicants, they can look for help by hiring from international candidates. A position in Customer Service or Business Administration is one that (in general) does not require any specialized knowledge. So that would quickly be filled by anyone already looking for a job in Canada. Where your skills might give you an advantage is if you were working in Customer Support for a software company. Let's say that you worked for a company in Singapore that makes software for hotel management, and you know the software very well. It is possible for a company in Canada to hire you to act as the Canadian helkp desk for that software because of your knowledge. Or perhaps a Canadian hotel that uses the software can justify hiring you, as it would save them money from buying a foreign support contract. If you speak English and Mandarin fluently, you would probably have a better chance in getting a job out in Western Canada, at least to start. Vancouver has a large Mandarin community, and companies there would be more likely to hire you (if they can) with those languages.
