How how to to transfer files from my PC to an external hard disk?

Answer:
I should think you just cut and paste your files. Some external hard drives come with programs that'll help you move files faster and more easily, but other than that, I think you just... move files. After... plugging it into the USB port... (Assuming your external hard drive isn't wireless.)

Right click on a file, go to Send To and click on what should be Removable Disk E: (or some other letter). You can also open My Computer twice with one window being for the external disk and the other for your internal hard drive. Click on a file in one window (external drive window) and drag it to the other. You're sorted.
