    Summer is nice, but rather humid. Fall is my favourite time in the city. Some top tourist spots: - Old Montreal, the spot where Montreal was founded in 1648 (when Toronto was still filled with swamps and tippis) - Mont-Royal Park, great park (designed by Central Park's designer) with amazing view from the top. - Olympic Stadium (good luck for Toronto next Olympic bid) - Botanical Garden - one of the world's best and biggest - Museums - Casino de Montreal - The party streets, Crescent, St-Laurent, St-Denis (Torontonians come to Montreal to party, wonder why)

There are jazz and comedy festivals during the summer, but of course they can be busy. Without a doubt the best weather is late September or early October, and you benefit by the great leaf changes. Otherwise, Montreal is a great place to eat and shop. Toronto is a better city if you want 'more' of everything, except more French.
