How long will it take for my Class 7 license to be given to me after i take the test in Calgary AB, Canada?

• I am 16 years old and am going to apply for my learners permit soon in Calgary, Canada. I know that since this is the learners I will not take a road test for another year when I apply for my Class 5 license, but I want to know how long after I take my test will I get my license? Will they give me a temporary right after the test until my real one comes, or will they do something else? Please be very specific as to what they will do. Another crucial question to me is if the practice tests they provide online are anything like the real one's? So far I have taken many online tests and have either gotten a hundred or 90 something, in other words i have passed them all, so will that prepare me or are the questions on the real test harder, oh and if you can provide me with the number of questions as well that would be super. Long question I know so to recap the things I want to know are... - How long will it take to get my license after the test, if it takes anytime at all? (And include the exact procedure from personal experience.) - And are the questions on the practice tests anything like the real one? - Lastly how many questions are on the real test? I usually find 30 on the practice one's. So will there be 30 on the real one? Btw these questions are implying to Calgary AB, Canada. Thank you for your help! It is greatly appreciated!

  I'm from Calgary and I took the test when I was 16 (18 now) The online tests are literally the same questions as they are on test so you should be fine. It's about 30 questions or so and I completed it in 15 min. There was only two questions that I had not scene before but I managed to wing it and got one of them right. So when you go to take your test (i believe you have to pay to take the test) they ask for all your information and they set you up on one of the computers. Once your done you go up to them and tell them you're finished and if you passed they will print of a temporary learners license which you can use until you get your license in about 1-2 weeks time. Then they take your license photo and do an eye test. Thats pretty much it. I passed my test the first time because of the online questions I took 4 hrs before the test. Yay to cramming !
