What kind of summer jobs are there in Calgary AB?

• I'm in desperate need of a change, and have decided to drop everything and move to Calgary almost three months earlier than planned. I'm attending SAIT Polytechnic in the fall. My funds are good enough that I could laze around and do nothing until school starts, but I'm not that kind of person and really want to keep adding to my savings. What kind of places would guarantee a job? Possibly one that was good paying? I briefly worked in Banff AB at a coffee shop but it was a very low wage. Also, I've known people who have raved at the amazing prices associated with living in the U of C dorms during the summer but from what I've seen on the website their really not THAT cheap! Please let me know what I need to do to get comfortably set up in these next 3 months before school starts. Thanks guys

  Check with the student services society - they usually have a bulletin board listing job vacancies especially geared to students. Or you could try the coffee shops, food industry or even some of the tourist attractions.
