How much budget going to Hong Kong?

• I'll be travelling to hong kong over the weekend, and since this is my first time, i would like to know if you guys have any idea on how much money i should bring? Its going to be a 3 day tour.

For a 3 day tour, bring about HK$150 for an octopus card for traveling around hong kong by public transportation like MTR and you can use it to purchase drinks and meals at fast food restaurants too. For meals bring around HK$30 per meal including drinks for a set meal, more if you want to visit full service restaurants. Hong Kong is expensive so bring about HK$300-400 per day (approx HK$1,200 for 3 days per person) for your trip excluding hotel stays in Hong Kong. Its best you can have extras than not enough money in Hong Kong but this is for a trip which is much budget tight one. So it has to depends on what do expect out of your trip in order to know the correct budget for your trip.
