Where are the favorite vacation places in Indonesia?

I am from there. There are lots of beautiful places, of course Bali will be the first (surf, sun, beaches, culture etc.). Other islands, such as Java (Jakarta - the capital, very metropolitan, Yogyakarta - very diverse, cultural city with Hindhu and Budhist temples, Bandung - cooler climate, tea plantation and other cities), Sumatra (Medan, Parapat - North Sumatra cities with beautiful lake Toba, Padang - West Sumatra city, beautiful culture, traditional houses etc.). You can visit Komodo island where you see the Komodo Dragon live in their natural habitat. It depends where you live, the flight is long (it's worth it though) you might stop over in some cities in Asia. Enjoy the trip.
