How to get work as Tourist guide in Pakistan?

• I live in Abbottabad, Pakistan. I love to travel and work as tourist guide...Any one could recomend an agency or Tour operator operating in the northern arreas of Pakistan especially Karakurram, Hamalya and Hindukush rannges..Any help would highly be appreicated.

  As a Pakistani national and tour guide you will of course know what a beautiful country you are blessed with. It is a great pity that few tour operators are currently running trips to Pakistan from the west. I was there in 1994 and tel everyone that the NW Frontier Province and Northern Areas have some of the most dramatic scenery on earth. Few people appreciate this can be possible though film presentations I have given on the region have convinced them otherwise. So to your question, there are three of four companies I know of. Please view the attached link (see under source below) which will in turn link you to them. I suggest the best company are Audley Travel but they seek the very highest standard guides (which I am sure you are) and tend to run personalised rather than group trips. Imaginative traveller are more basic adventurous trips, I guess it depends where your previous experience lies. Competition must be fierce for any work in that sector right now so good luck my friend. I hope one of these companies might offer you a chance.
