What to do in Bali for 5N6Ds of stay?

Which is the best resort to stay at in Bali?

  • I live in Brisbane and have never been to Bali before, what do you recommend as a good place to stay in Bali where everything is catered for?

  • Answer:

Hi, Do need to know, how/ what do you intend to do in Bali.. There is plenty of nice locations, with great hotels/ resorts in Bali.. If you are spending your Honeymoon, places like Nusa Dua, Ubud & Seminyak are good for spending quiet time together.. & places like Kuta & Legian are more for the young & partying crowd with Kuta as a easy surf beach.. All these locations have easy access to shops, pubs & restaurants.. A good way to savour the real taste of Bali, is to just spent a couple of nights in various locations.. Transportation is cheap & reliable.. Just remember to bargain & finalized the price before departing..

In my opinion the best resort in Bali is the Ritz Carlton in the Hill Top Villas. These are however very expensive (over US$1000 per night) Other better value options include the Waka properties & Bali Padma You really do not need to "go all inclusive" in Bali as eating out is part of the fun and there are lots of restaurants to choose between.

Check out www.asiarooms.com They list the hotels by area & also people's feedback. I stayed at Kuta (Ramayana Resort & Spa) in Feb 08 & it's quite a nice place, cleaner than Denpasar.
