Going to Bali. Passport validity question.?

Hello ppl. I'm going to Bali on 4th of April with my wife. I'm an Estonian citizen. The problem is my passport expires in 5 month after my return to home country. I know it must expire in not less than 6 month. I've applied to renew my passport but, as I live abroad (Ireland), it takes quite a while to receive my new passport. I've been waiting for 6 weeks so far for my new passport and still have 2 weeks before my trip, but I'm getting a bit concernd. In case if my new passport won't be ready on time, will I be allowed into Bali? I'm planning on taking a reference from my work, that I'm on holidays and been working full-time for the last 5 years. Also I will ask Estonian Embassy to provide some sort of document that my passport being delayed. Do you think it will be enough to convince officials at the Bali airport that I'm not a criminal and will not stay in Bali for longer than the duration of my holidays (2 weeks)? Thanks.

You may enter Bali as long as your passport is valid at least 6 months from the point of entry. Not when you depart. Indonesia does not care what you do or references. You just have to get US$25 ready to get your visa upon arrival that's all.
