Why are there monsoons in Bangladesh?

Do you think that what is happening to Pakistan is because of Karma ie what they did to Bangladesh 38 yrs ago?

  • About 38 years ago, (sorry if the date is not exact) Pakistan (West Pakistan at that time) army mass killed the people of Bangladesh (East Pakistan at that time) because the Bangaldeshi people rebelled against them about what they deserved because Pakistan would only use Bangladesh for their own benefits and not care if the Bangladeshi died or not. More than 3 million Bangladeshi people gave their lives. Not only that, the Pakistani army mass raped and killed the girls and women of Bangladesh. Also to ensure that Bangladesh never becomes a developed or prosperous nation, they killed as many intellectuals of that country as possible. But what is happening now? Pakistan is infected with terrorists and is on the edge of their own end. At least, in Bangladesh the new government is doing it's very best to get rid of whatever terrorists are present, which by the way, came mostly from Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. My question to all of you is: Do you see that no one can get away with what they have done? Everyone who commits crime will pay one way or another.

    You have a very illogical perception about happenings and events going on on this globe. Deducing from your logic,if Bangla Desh's population is destroyed & cities ruined by cyclones & floods every year,does it mean that the sins committed by the Bengalis are washed by sending those floods by the devine authority ? How have you concluded that Pakistan is "on the edge of it's own end" did you have any revelation?

If you believe that Pakistan is paying for what they did to the Bangladeshis in the past. Perhaps, you should stop ill-treating the minority from the chittagong hill track and the hindu/christian/bhuddist followers. Else, you will have to pay for what you are doing now. What happened in pakistan is partly due to a mismanagement in the government system and the law markers themselves.

I started realising that there is no such thing as 'punishment meted out to the perpetrator in this world' or there will be punishment for the wrong-doer anytime now or afterlife. I think we the victims do keep ourselves content with the childish thought that the bad people gets 'justice' done to them from the victim's side or from any other unrelated source, this is more to pacify our anger and hatred towards the person(s) who has harmed us. Pakistan is getting what they deserve and same goes for India and Bangladesh or Sri Lanka and USA. However, 'karma' concept keeps our hopes alive and we get false feeling of justice meted out to the people who harmed us; in a way good pacifies for the feeble and weak personality or nations. The USA, UK or the G-8 would never dwell on 'karma' concept, since they know that it is inherent quality of people of nation that keeps them modest and gentle, even though they have acquired enough money and ammunition to bully around people. Being from Bangladesh I may have got some solace that Pakistanis can see how the Military or para-military (Taliban in this case) can bring havoc to the daily lives of peaceful citizen who had nothing to do with politics. More so, if the attack is done by people (Pakistan) who do not belong to the land (Bangladesh) and forcibly wanted to subjugate our nation back in 1971. I hold more resentment towards our own kind of leadership who being Bengali has been exploiting our poor citizen in various sectors, like economy, education, social life and political freedom. I do hope that Pakistan comes out of this mess soon and realise that they have pending issues with Bangladesh (formal apology and sharing of assets etc) and solve these as soon as possible and help Bangladesh try the War Criminals of 1971 so that we can heal the old wounds.
