• hi, We are planning a trip to Hong Kong April 09. We were offered shamrock hotel and wanted to know - 1. what are your personal reviews of that hotel? 2. What is the location like? Is it very crowded? What kind of shopping around it? 3. Is the location safe for kids? Is it clean? 4. What do they serve on the breakfast buffet? 5. Are the rooms recently renovated or are they old fashioned & musty? 6. How far is the MTR by foot? By taxi? thnx

  http://www.shamrockhotel.com.hk/en/rooms.html it's a v v old hotel which opened b4 i was borned haha..... but the location is v v convenience. 1. it's a 2 stars hotel 4 me 2. location = excellent. convenience downstairs. w/ a street market called the BoLing Street rite behind. MTR station (Jordon Station) rite downstairs. walking distance to Tsim Sha Tsui (about 3-5 mins walk). 3. safe / yes....... it's on the main road. very busy day & nite. the Nathan Road. 4. i guess their breakfast wil be on the top fl. it's a lounge-like area. just some bread + ham...juices...coffee. normal in HK. 5. chk out the website 4 their rooms. seem no renonvation lately. 6. as said in point 2
