Doos a British citizen need a visa to Indonesia?

Do I need a Visa if I am traveling to Bali, Indonesia for 7 days only? Am a US Citizen.?

  • Also , if I do need a Visa, can I get it at the Airport of Denpasar directly with my US Passport and pay the fees there, will they issue it to me.

Yes, you DO need a visa, but don't worry, you can get it directly on Bali. By the way, if you need a tour guide, I have this one Indonesian fellow who used to be my personal tour guide. And guess what? He didn't want to get paid! So, me and my family ended up having a great time in Bali with a free personal tour guide (which will cost you hundreds of dollars if you choose travel companies). Too good to be true? Indeed. My friends thought that he might be a "concierge" sent by the Indonesian Tourism Board or something to make the tourists feel safe and comfortable while traveling in Bali. If you are a US citizen you dont need a visa to travel to other countries, only a US Passport.

for US citizens visiting southeast asian countries, you will get visa upon arrival. some countries will charge a minimum of usd10 for it but most are free.
