Question to those who have been to Vietnam, Philippines, Laos and Thailand: is there a difference between the?

people in these countries attitudewise?
Answer:

Yes definitely, Lao is the most kicked back. Cambodia is like the wild west. The Philippines is the most westernized. Thailand's people are nice but the tourist areas are just not as much fun as they used to be. Many think the Thais are getting to take the tourist dollar for granted. And are treating the tourists as a whole with indifference and contempt. Vietnam is a nation of shop keepers. Be prepared to bargain for everything. But if you don't let it bug you its a great country with beautiful Beach's mountains etc. a good place to visit and really inexpensive.
