What is the best way to spend a weekend retreat with dear boyfriend?

I live in Singapore and I am looking for a way to spend a unique weekend with my boyfriend. I've been to Tioman and Redang Island hence resort is pretty boring. Sentosa is too expensive to be around and cruises are too lame. you just sleep, and eat, and sleep and eat. Singapore is just too boring! What suggestions do you all have?

It's difficult to recommend without knowing what you guys like to do together (no pun intended). A great weekend for you two would be to do something that you both enjoy. If you are not into cruises and Sentosa and if you are tired to beach resorts, then why not go explore the jungles of Western Malaysia? Or visit some of the great historic spots in Eastern Malaysia such as Malacca. Or got to eastern Java (Surabaya) and visit the volcano ... sunset / sunrise on the edge of the crater is pretty breath-taking. Or ... etc etc.
