What's good to do in Philadelphia in December when travelling on a shoestring budget?

Budget for 3 months travelling around Sout East Asia ?

• My boyfriend and I are going travelling around South East asia next year , for about 3 months. We will be going to Thailand, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. What sort of budget should we aim for for this trip - excluding flights from the UK but including everything else - accommodation, internal travelling, travelling between the countries, food , activities etc? Any suggestions from anyone who has done this trip before?

  You can live on £10 a day some places, others will be nearer £15 Some of the hostels and geusthouses are as cheap as £3 a night each and food can be bought for pennies....£1 a day can feed you well in some parts. In the cities prices are a bit higher but strill very cheap unless you want to eat western food all the time. Local airlines are cheap.Book all your flights locally at local prices, not through the Europe/UK sections of the airlines websites. Be careful with buses. Use the big well established companies but even then be prepared to work if a road becomes blocked ( rocks, trees, flood water, boiled engines, busted axles, ahh the joys of foreign adfventures) and take plenty of food and drink with you. It might have to last longer than expected.
