Where In Indonesia?

Where can I change my cash dollars in Indonesia?

  • Banks in Indonesia are completely crazy. Cash dollars that I can change anywhere else in the world are not acceptable for banks in Indonesia. It gives me lots of headache. Are there any places in Indonesia where I can change my dollars and where bank employees behave like adult people?

  • Answer:

Well, if you have some difficulty at the banks, I guess you should just go to the nearest money changers, they should be able to help.. and hopefully, the employees would behave like adults, lol.. sorry for the inconvenience, though..

Where are you now, in Indonesia or in Yemen? If in Indonesia, ask for help from the Yemeni Embassy or consulate - that's what they are there for, to help their own citizens. I don't know for a fact, but I wouldn't be surprised if you aren't allowed to because of your nationality, associated as it is with Islam - even though Indonesia is the largest Muslim country, they are fighting militant insurrection. Not saying you're part of it, but it might explain your difficulty. [ADDED] Oh, in that case, hit up the Dutch Embassy.
