Which hotel is good in Hong Kong? BP International OR Shamrock?

For those who visited hong kong only:?

  • which hotel would you choose:Shamrock Hotel, Guangdong Hotel or Ramada hotel. Which one is the best because I'm going againg to Hong Kong and I dont know which one is the best. Any comments about the hotel.

    Definitely not the first two. I will pick Ramada.

All these hotels are in the TST area, but I've personally stayed in Guangdong (but that was 10 years ago, before the handover) and it seemed pretty decent for an affordable hotel. It's also near the MRT and a McDonald's (should you need something cheap and cheerful to snack on). But if you're going for a holiday, there are better (albeit, pricey) hotels. In Hong Kong side, there's the Express by Holiday Inn which is right beside Times Square. Or Park Lane in Causeway Bay. In Kowloon side, I personally like Marco Polo and Sheraton (which is near the Esprit outlet)

I was just there last week and missed it already. Anyway I stayed at Jia hotel near causeway bay. For next visit I am think the Four season at IFC tower or Mandarin Oriental in Lan Kai Fong.

it was my first time to go to HK when I checked-in at Shamrock Hotel. if you prefer to have just a DECENT place to stay-in and "slightly" sacrificing the grandeur and luxury services of the hotel being offered at Central,then go for this small-but-located-in-a-very-good-locatio… hotel. one good point of this hotel is that its along Nathan Road. Lots of good shops around like Bosinni and Giordano. Then, like 10 steps outside the hotel is the Jordan Station of MTR.. Yeah! that's its good point. Very accessible to the MTR. enjoy.
