What is the best place to buy winter clothes in kuala lumpur, malaysia?

• i will need affordable and reasonable winter clothes for the whole family to shanghai, china by next year. any idea where i could get one? i tried winter time and universal traveller store but after discount it is still expensive. my budget will be rm150 for a winter wear jacket.

  OK. Here is talking thru experience. You wont be using the jacket that much, only when u r overseas, as i assume u r living in a tropical country of Malaysia rite? So, i think better if u go to F.O.S. or Reject Shop. FOS have many winter clothes and sometimes they even have good and famous brands. The price is also cheaper. ( FOS = Factory Outlet Store ) One more thing, from my experience, buying winter clothes in Malaysia is not very good. The design wont be the same in the country you are going. U will look weird wearing winter clothes people dont wear anymore and is out of date. Better if u go with some sweaters and some jackets, and buy winter clothes there in Shanghai or whereever you are going. It is easy to see and recognize foreigners overseas becoz of their weird looking jackets and fashion sense. Sometimes i cant help but laugh. haha. Try to blend in to the country u r going. at least people would think u lived there long (even though u r a foreigner) and wont try to cheat u. Tourist get cheated all the time.
