How much does it cost to go to Vietnam ?

fore the round trip flight, it's ranging from $900 to $1200 depending on when you want to travel and airlines. hotels ranging from $15 bucks up to $100 plus bucks/night, food there is inexpensive pretty much everything there is not expensive at all, 5 grands can cover you for a month there as long as don't spend all out. You should try and have a look at Lonely Planet first. Then it will be useful to contact some Americans who have ever traveled to VN. The costs depend on which airplanes you fly, the hotels you stay, the seasons, and personal expenditure. A search on the Internet would also bring you a lot of experience. The weather in VN in summer is hot and rainy, around 22 - 33 degrees Celsius. Traffic in VN is not good and it is still a poor country.

Seriously, if you have to ask , you probably shouldnt go. It WILL be more expensive than you planned, and if something goes wrong ( hurt, police, accident etc) you will need cash money right then to extricate yourself from the problem. Don't even think about showing up without at least 3-5 k and a working credit card.
