How much is to go to Ho Chi Minh?

I'd love to go to Hanoi from Ho Chi Minh. How? How much? How many hours will it take me to go there?

  Take the train there adventurer. Take the train. Check out the schedules. I've been on the train from north to south and from south to north. You can get off any time and any where you wish if you purchase the correct ticket. It is a wicked trip into the past. Just like old time train travel used to be. You can eat some pretty good food in the restaurant car and get your beer to go if you wish. Just do not and I mean DO NOT eat the swill that is given to you as a regular passenger. Wait for the cart to come along and buy your food from that. If you have the little extra money then make sure that you get a sleeper. There are four in a compartment. Otherwise you will be sitting in a hard seat. Believe me brother. You don't want that. lol. Bring your own personal stuff. Toilet paper, hand cleanser. etc. They do not supply it. If you are heading south, then get a seat which faces to the ocean. I could go on and on about our trip but you should really experience it your self. Oh Yeah. About the time. ha ha. It depends on which train you are one. But either which way they are time consuming but extremely enjoyable. have fun ric
