What is the cheapest way to sent parcels to Australia from Vietnam both ways.?

• What is the cheapest way to sent parcels to Australia from Vietnam both ways.? At the moment i sent 20kg in a carton size 56cm x 42cm x 36cm. This is done with EMS in Vietnam know as ECI in Australia it is a postal service within the post office, and is equivalent to DHL or UPS. The service does include tracking number with is good because it makes it harder to loose. But at AUD$20 per kg it less cost effective than actually flying return with a ticket at $1,255.00 taxes included where you get to bring 30kg and hand luggage of 7kgs each way which actually saves you because you are pay $16.95 as a kg rate( a saving of $222). Does anyone know of a cheaper rate without having to fly.

  I think you would be better off sending it Ocean Freight through a company like Maersk, or Sea Land Express to name a couple. They charge by the cubic meter and weight doesn't seem to matter. However, you would need to check on the Viet Customs requirements for retrieving a shipment. I have only sent stuff out of the country. (Vn to Boston, USA, $90/meter plus port charges, 3 years ago)
