Going to Vietnam this summer, what are some things I should/shouldn't do?

Vietnam!!!! during summer what clothing should i bring?

• ok so um im going to vietnam on july 1 at about 12:00 p.m. and getting to vietnam around july 2nd at about 10:40 p.m. im supper excited like you have no idea how excited i am but anyways what do you guys think i should bring like clothing wise and food for the airplane and stuff and tipss on travel size bottle things. and um im thinking of going to buy an eyemask and i have a mouth mask because the airplanes uhm colling thingy always makes it hard for me to breath so would you think it would be weird if i used it? and another thing im planning to shop alot tips on not getting pickpockted because uhm im just scared i work hard to get money and save it up to spend so i dont want no fool taking my money away from me and uhm another thing is do you think like a mini wallet like minnni wallet would be good? and im staying in saigon with muh family/ familia :) anyways just wanted some tips since i wanted to take percaution this time im back since uhm i heard alot of people get pickpockted but back then i was to young to use money or understood how and now im like 14 and i get to be in charge of what i buy and how i spend the money ive earned and stuff so yeah guys thanks :)

  chill out, you'll be fine , viet nam is a very easy place to travel in.....its good you concern yourself with conditions on the airplane... first off get yourself in top shape before you go ..eat well take your vitamins.. while on the plane drink WATER ONLY, no juice, and defiantly NO ALCOHOL ! get a drink of water every hour , thirsty or not..maybe carry some of that disinfected hand cleaner and use it.....i also take antibiotics , dramamine , Imodium and cold meds with me... now about pick pockets... not nearly as bad as the legends would have you believe.. THAT SAID THEY ARE OUT THERE AND IF THEY GET YOU IT REALLY DONT MATTER IF IT REAL PREVALENT OR NOT sooo, take care with your money, dont carry a lot in any one place, DONT "FLASH" it around or keep it hanging out in your hand[ this especially goes for cell phones and cameras..keep then close and "anchored" to your body, same with hand bag...] vietnamese me carry small money in their front shirt pocket..at first i wasnt comfortable doing that..but i've never lost any and nobody id "picking" your front shirt pocket easily...if you use a wallet , put 3-4 rubber bands around it[ makes it more difficult to come out of a pocket, front or back..be aware when people are brushing up against you...in viet nam crowds this is unavoidable , just be aware... and again dont carry a lot at one time or in any one pocket..carry charge card, travelers checks, and know there are ATM's all over viet nam.. have fun but dont be stupid..and stat reasonably sober in public...
