Thai word for "me": nong Thai word for "allergy": pae Thai word for "peaunt": tùa lí-sŏng http://www.thai2english.com/online/dictionary/ When flying over ask the Thai flight attendent to write down your phrase in Thai on a 3x5 card. Their English-Thai skills are better than someone off the street. Also to be on the safe side you may want to get an Epi-Pen or at least some Benadryl tablets before traveling.

There will be peanut residue in many many foods. if you are extremely alergic as you sugest you are then I think it would be extremely dangerous for you to eat at most places. There will be traces of peanuts in most cooking. This includes restaurants. When you ask (in Thai) "is there peanuts? They will generally reply "no" honestly not considering 'microscopic traces. Peanuts are in Thai: 'Tour' You would pronounce the sentences required as "Me Tour Mai? (it does not sound like 'mike' it is 'mai' or 'may' in this structure it functions as a question word similar to the function of a question mark.) "me tour mai" = does it have peanuts? mai ow tour(ow the same sound as if you hurt your toe is kind of not as strong as other words declining something) = I dont want peanuts. You would be better to say: Mai tong garn tour= I Do Not Want peanuts in a much more serious form. pom gin tour, pom jiep mak mak= if i eat peanuts I hurt a lot. khun high tour, khun car pom= you give peanuts you kill me. cowjai mai= do you understand. cowjai= I understand. mai= no (yes this word has several meanings depending on when and how it is used.) Me= have/ yes it has/ yes I have. Chi= yes. krap = yes /affirmitive also a polite word used at the end of any sentence simmilar to 'please'. (male) ka= yes /affirmitive also a polite word used at the end of any sentence simmilar to 'please' (same as krap but for females.) There are various problems with trying to read Thai written phonetically in English. My written Thai is sadly at a formative stage so I will not try to write it in Thai alphabet. Can I sugest most strongly- That when you arrive that you have a thai who speaks English fluently, to write in Thai language on a small card your problem and the serious ramifications if a mistake is made. Show this card whereever you eat. Most places will sadly risk traces (be them small) of peanuts. (if your allergy would permit you to risk eating non visible traces of peanut fibre or oil then you should be absoloutly fine.) You will find the same problem throughout the country and in both Phuket and BKK.

OK. all menus you should to say "mike out tour"(translate = don't put peanuts), or "me tour mike?"(translate = do you have peanuts in menu?) if he/she say "me"(translate = yes) or say "mike me"(translate = no). If who would like to visit Phuket, you can reserve hotels as you like as below;
