Where can i renew my passport in bangkok thailand, im a filipino?

  • my passport will expire 11th of february next year and i have to renew my passport. can i renew it while im not in the philippines? how long will it take me process it, how much will it be the cost, what are the requirements, where will i go is in DFA in thailand or our Philippine embassy here. presently im working here in thailand. can you pls help me if you have any ideas? is it also working the online machine for the processing of the passport or is it better for me to by myself personally.

It makes only common sense to go to the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok. Use the link the KGP gave you for all the information you need. Also be sure to get a letter from your embassy to take to immigrations so you can have you visa entered into your new passport.

Go personally to the Philippines Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. You have to be personally present to apply for a new passport, because you have to have you fresh fingerprints for a new machine- readable passport. It will take not less than 60 days for the Embassy to have your new passport ready, because they have to send it to the Philippines for processing. All new Philippines machine-readable passports are to be processed in the Philippines and can't be done at the local Embassies now. Service fee is Baht 2,250.00 for 44 pages and Baht 2,700.00 for 64 pages. For further information, call the Embassy at Tel.02- 259-01-39 - 40 0r e-mail at [email protected].
