็hI, Not sure where you are coming from ,but if it's England or America ,something like that, and you are just coming for a brief holiday(Up to 30 days)Then all you need is your passport and return flight ticket. When you arrive at Bangkok you will get a stamp for 30 day visit when passing through immigration. If your planning on staying longer ,then it's best to apply for a longer visa. You can get a 60 day Tourist visa from Royal Thai Consulate Hull Theres a link on this page. http://www.bangkokblast.com/#/visas/4532919487 At the moment 60 day Tourist visas are supposed to be free, but England being England ,they are charging a 15GBP "Admin" fee for it.

If you need a visa that you pay for or not depends on the passport you travel under and the country you are from. Also it depends on how long you intend to stay in Thailand. If you are from the US, UK, Oz, NZ and many other countries in Europe you may be able to enter Thailand and get a free 30 days stamp in your passport. You need a current passport with 6 months remaining from your return home. You need sufficient funds to support yourself and not be a burden to Thailand. See immigration links: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2482.php?id=2490 http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2482.php?id=2491 TripAdvisor Forum can also help you for additional information: http://www.tripadvisor.com/SearchForums?scope=2&ff=3686&geo=293915&q=visa&sub-search.x=9&sub-search.y=9&sub-search=Click+to+search+forums&returnTo=__2F__ For those who qualify for the free 30 days many airlines hand out the forms on the plane for you to fill out. Otherwise those forms are available at the airport. Good luck.

ok - most countries have visa on arrival but check first - sure, money is good, ATM is best but ask your bank if there are fees for using a foreign bank - credit card and some cash is good to have but notify your cc co. & atm holder where you will be - find the cheapest flight you can, prices can vary greatly - pack casual - memorize he lyrics to "Money can;t buy me love" & "Looking for love in all the wrong places" - then come over and have a blast get on the bus gus, set yourself free
