Best way to travel from thailand to cambodia and then Vietnam.?
-
I´m not sure if this trip is possible unless i go back packing. is there no tailored holidays that do the 3 in a few days or is that ridiculous. i´m finding Cambodia to Vietnam easy enough but nothing with Thailand so can someone suggest best way and times. Failing that would bangkok to Singapor be more realistic. if so how would i do that and roung costs. hope i find someone who knows. Thanks for all your help. =)

Answer:
I just came back from a 3 week vaccation to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. We flew to Bankok, took a bus to Koh Chang, and from Koh Chang to Siam Reap, Cambodi. Then a bus to Phnom Phen, then to Sihanouk Ville, and then to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. From Hoh Chi Minh we flew to Nha Trang, and then flew back to Ho Chi Minh and then home. It is very easy and very cheap to travel by bus in these contries, and there is people bloody everywhere willing to help you with the arrangements, and most of the time they'll pick you up at your hotel. The only problem for you however, is the time. If you wanna do all 3 contries in a few days, you are going to waste a lot of time in the bus. A friend of mine travelled around Cambodia and Vietnam, and he flew to and from the same destinations I did. It's way more expenssive than bus, but you'll say an awfull lot of time. For an example, a bus ride from Ho Chi Minh to Nha Trang would take 11 (so they say - you'll have to add 2-4 hours extra to whatever they tell you), but it was only an 1,5 hr flight. The flight was about $90 and the bus was $10-20 I wouldn't recommend for you to do all 3 contries in a few days. We had 3 weeks, and saw everything we wanted to see, but we only had one day free to rest :)

It depends on your nationality and amount of money you want to spend Entry into Cambodia and Vietnam will require coordination and visas. The to/from Thailand legs should not be that complicated but the other 2 legs will likely be. Can it be done? yes. Will it be easy? not so sure. Might want to chat with a travel agent based in Bangkok that is familiar with similar itineraries

You can easily buy airline tickets to/from all three locations. Not sure why this is so difficult.
