Where do you find a job coach?

I am a boxing coach living in Bangkok can somebody tel me how can i find a coach job?

  • I am a boxer and also I have a coaching certificate . SO i wanna work as boxing coach in Bangkok but I dont know how ? Can anyone tell me the way how I can become a boxing coach. Thanks

    I guess you can pound the pavement and see if you can get a job, hit the local gyms. I hope your Thai is good and they will give you a work permit... but my guess is unless you are well known and in demand in your field - they likely have many Thai speakers... good luck.

Well I know for a fact that boxing is not a big sport in Thailand and those areas. It does not suit the people cause they are just to small. But if you think that you can provide something to the sport then go for it. I am afraid that you can't go to a place like a office and look for available jobs, cause 90% of the jobs are not registered. What you have to do is learn key phrases that you will need and find gyms and simply ask them if they have a position open. But I will warn, boxing is not a big sport here so don't expect to much.

Honestly, I think your chances are slim. Muay Thai is the national sport in Thailand and it is HUGE in Bangkok. I just don't think there will be a lot of interest for a boxing coach. If you were a muay thai coach it wouldn't be a problem. That said just ask around at gyms, you may get lucky.
