The only way she can get a visitor visa is if she has had a steady job for a long time, has quite a lot of money in the bank, and can prove strong ties and reasons she needs to stay in Thailand and won't try to work in the U.S. If she's poor and works in a bar, you're out of luck. Not saying that she is, don't take offense. But playing the odds, that would be the case and it wouldn't be possible. Other than that, only way is to get engaged and have strong proof of your relationship. This visa would take about 3 months to get.

To get her visa - sounds like you are looking for a tourist visa - she will have to apply at the US Embassy.. a very quirky place indeed.. They will give her a 3 minute interview in which to make her case.. My girlfriend was poor, we did not even hand in a bank book, though she had an honest work history and long story short is that someone in the embassy felt that it was credible that she was indeed just ocming for a visit to my family, would not overstay her visa or work. Honest faces won the day - - and she did honor the terms..
