Are there any good Indian restaurants in Bangkok?

Indian restaurants in Bangkok and pattaya (thailand)?

  • Very soon, I will be visiting both the above places. Will anyone please give names of indian restaurants at both these places.

    Bangkok:- I found only two restaurants which had reasonable price and authentic Indian taste. Taste of India on Khaosan Road Bollywood on Soi 4 in Sukhumvit Area Avoid India Today on Soi 5 in Sukhumvit, very expensive and no taste. Pattaaya:- New Delhi restaurant on Beach Road.

There are many indian restaurants located in Bangkok. If you are in Silom Road, you can find Tamil Nadu restaurant in Silom Road, (Veg/NV), Chennai Kitchen (Veg) and few more restaurants which are nominal priced. If you come to Soi Putta Osoth area (near silom/suriwong) the whole street is full of Indian restaurants only. Price is very nominal. Yogi Restaurant (North Indian Veg), Hot & Spice (South Indian Veg), Delhi Sweets (North Indian veg) and many more NV restaurants are also there in this street. If you want to go for a higher priced but decent NV restaurant, try IndianHut in Suriwong (silom area) Road. *** In Sukhumvit area, while on walking on the road itself, you can see a lot of Indian restaurants. Try Himali Cha Cha or someother. *** My advice in Pattaya is, don't go for Indian restaurants. They are really very very very costly.

Off Sukhumvit Road, near the Nana Skytrain route, you will find some Indian Restaurants. On Sukhumvit Soi 8 there is one and one on Sukhumvit Soi 11/1 another that I can recall. I do remember seeing several of them just walking around. Bangkok. Sukhimvit Road, Soi 1. The sky train would be Nana. They have beautiful Bangladeshi, Pakistani and Arab restaurants. Very tasty stuff. Bon appetit and of course bon voyage.

Bangkok has many indian and pakistani restaurants. Dont worry, when you wonder around there will be many people on the road giving you visiting cards of these restaurants, once they identify u to be an indian or a pakistani

go to phuket, they have beautiful indian restaurants at patong and kata / karon beaches. you should find plenty of them in bangkok as well...

Check out the one at Central World Plaza. There is a new India Restuarant named Maharaja. Pretty nice!
