How can i get visa to visit thailand if there is no thai ambassy in my country?

  • hi, i'm a tunisian citizen and i wish to visit thailand but there is no thai ambassy in tunisia so i don't know where to apply for tourist visa?can i do it at any thai ambassy around the world?in malysia, if i visit malysia first and wish to go to thailand later for an exemple or must i apply for it at a designated ambassy only? best regards

    You can apply for a Thai tourist visa at any Thai embassy or consulate overseas. Tunisian citizens are not restricted to having to apply at Thai embassies located in specific countries. But passport holders of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Sudan, Algeria, Libya, Yemen, Egypt and Palestinian States are requested to file for application at the Thai Embassy/Consulate-General where they have their permanent residence.

you WILL NOT get a 30 day visa on arrival.Tunisia is not on the exempt list. My only suggestion is you go on line to a royal thai embassy of a neighbouring nation (that has a thai embassy) and seek help or official thai govt web-site

You will get a 30 day visa automatically when you land at the airport in Thailand. If you want to stay longer, there are ways of doing this which are easy to find when you get here
