What fast food is there in thailand?

What is the big fuss about Thailand and Thai food ?

  • No I haven't been there, no I haven't tried their food, yes, I've tried chinese and within instance, I threw up. I'd rather starve to death and die than to mix myself in this. I'm indian so I love with passion my food and culture as well as british being UK born. I'm sick of all the fuss about Thailand and all these far eastern countries. I love my Britain and that is where I belong - thoughts people ?????

Beauty (and taste) is the in the eyes of the beholder. What one likes, others do not. If you don't like Thai food, fine. Don't eat it. Get something else. There is plenty of choice, and lots of Indian restaurants in Bangkok.

It all has to do with who is standing in front of the stove. I've had some great meals from chinese, indian, and thai restaurants, then at other places you find out why you are their only customer.

Hi Rocket, I am British too. I love the cultural diversity of our country and that includes sampling all those excellent different cuisines that are on offer including Indian fare. However I am not bigoted enough to go around telling everyone how great the UK is. Personally I prefer to keep an open mind and enjoy the cultural delights of the many countries I have visited and lived in. Comparing and contrasting is fine but it really does help if you have some experience to base your argument on. As for your question(statement) well I'm not sure there is a big fuss about Thailand and Thai food. Personally I enjoy them both but as someone else said each to his own. I for one certainly would not wish to ram Thailand or Thai food down your throat(no pun intended)..

to each his own. You stick to your bhajis, I'll have a nice plate of pad thai Can't argue with your statement that if you can't stand the thought of anything outside Britain, you should indeed stay there! (and BTW there are some good Indian restaurants in Thailand)

Excuse me, that is rude to hate on other countries. It doesn't matter what race you are. Shame on you. And Chinese food is different and more greasy than Thai food. Thai food is very good, thanks for asking.

I'm a Thai. I used to work for an offshore company in Alderney, one of the Channel Islands...and I really don't mind to say...I looooove 'fish and chips', cucumber sandwich, bacon sandwich...and great great English breakfast with those baked beans (always had it with cold beer)...and Alderney's alltime favorite crab sandwich. They also have this Chinese take-away place with a one man show...he owns it and he's a cook, too...a Chinese...but like you an English born...and let me tell ya...whatever there are on the menu...delicious! Also there's one Indian restaurant called 'Nellie Gray's'...great food as well. I mean c'mon...open you mind, your heart, your nose...and open your mouth...have a bite of everything. Don't be so fussy.

I feel that it is only westerners who like Thai food. It is due to the fact that western food has no variety and is totally tasteless. I find that Indian food is the best food in the whole world. It is the western people who make a fuss over the Thai food therefore.
