What restaurant is the best in Bang Tao Beach?

Good beaches in/near Phuket, Thailand?

• Hi, we love Thailand and come back there every year. We have been to Phuket and have been ot the Bang Tao beach and the Patong beach. We found Patong to be a bit busy, and Bang Tao (Near Chang Talay?) to be way out from the town, but very beautiful. What other beaches are there in / around Phuket that are naturally beautiful? Any tips about which one is better and why? Any help appreciated. thanks.

  Around Phuket all the best beaches are on the west coast, the east coast is mainly mangroves and not so nice beaches. On the west coast Karon Beach is very nice, south from there is Kata Beach & Kata Noi Beach, also very good. Down on the southern point, there is Nai Harn Beach, which is quite nice, and less crowded, these are probably the better beaches on Phuket Island, but almost all the beaches on the western side of the island are good, some better than others.
