Should I take my skateboard to Phuket?

If you (emphasis on YOU) want to carry that piece of junk all the way from your country to Bangkok and from there to Phuket (most expensive place in Thailand) go for it! If it will make your little heart happy do it! This will be no different than the young tourists that think it is cool to drag a big guitar with case or even surfboards with them on overseas flights. You will probably have to check it in because on some airlines your board may be considered a weapon. So have a case, box or bag for it when you check it in. There is a little shopping mall there where you could use your skateboard. There are also some asphalt roads, the area is generally flat. So you could bring your board.
