A reliable Thai Amulet, what do you mean by 'reliable'? Most people think that Amulets are Buddhist but they are not, they are Animistic. If you belileve - you do not need the benifit of the amulet, if you do not believe - you will not get any benifit from the amulet.

There is a market called Ta prajahn in Bangkok and there they have the most reasonable prices for amulets.. I don't know much about them but based on the price, not expensive, and that there are many many the same, I am sure they are not old... but I think almost every town will have several places that sell them. I always see older men looking at them and studying them.. good luck

Reliable, I would take it to be blessed amulets and best to rent it from the temples. These would have been blessed by the monks there.
